Business Analyst (Managerial) – Functional Lead

  • Support clients by analyzing propositions and assessing decision-making factors such as strategic alignment, platform dependencies, Iterative Development Approach, and clear understanding of business requirements.
  • Work closely with the LeSS Management as an advocate for the Business Analyst Community of Practice to define “Best Practices” to be used, shared, and evolved
  • Work with Agile teams and product owners to eliminate blockers and impediments, refine user stories and acceptance criteria, plan sprints to support business release plans.
  • Identify gaps in skillsets and experience to ensure the BA Community has the training and resources needed to engage with internal, agency, and external partners
  • Provide career training and growth opportunities to the BA Community
  • Ensure the BAs are contributing to their areas of expertise and are participating in Platform Scrum Ceremonies (Refinement, Planning, Review, and Retrospective)
  • Identifies developer hiring / retention needs and coordinates with human resources.
  • Meet actively with the BA Community to ensure there are open avenues for feedback and Community harmony


  • 5+ years’ experience as a IT Business Analyst
  • 2+ years in a lead or management position that consists of at least 5 members
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business Management or Equivalent) recommended
  • An eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to rationalize complex information to make it understandable for others to work
  • Ability to interrogate reported information and challenge sources where inconsistencies are found
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Azure DevOps or Jira experience
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum Environment, plus if familiar with Large Scale Scrum (LeSS)
